I got a new delivery of optifast this morning. I just did 12km's (450 cals/30 mins)on the exercise bike. Finally on my way to the '80's.&lt;br /&gt;I've temporarily stopped optifast as I found the scales weren't moving much so I'm eating fruit in the morning, salads, vegies and meat. Counting Calories around 1000 a day because on optifast that was only 800 calories. I've just read an excellent book lent to me by Melissa and it was very interesting, called 'Sweet Poison' hence I'm avoiding anything with sugar and the past 3 days have had my coffees with no sugar.&lt;br /&gt;So I'll go this way for a week or 2 then maybe do optifast again for a while.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;to the '80's I go&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've now got 13 paperclips linked together on my fridge, finally been adding a few more lately, I started this chain when I started ww in sept '08. So with 8 weeks to go, I've got to get more serious.&lt;br /&gt;I will go for a run tonight, I need to get a bit more hot and sweaty from exercise. I've been for a few walks lately, but I need to start cracking the whip if I'm going to fit into size 12 this winter (target layby) This Friday I have to see 90.9. Oh well I've picked myself back up and it's water and diet jelly for the rest of the day.&lt;br /&gt;Paul has gone away for the whole week, so hopefully on friday he will be able to notice the loss I've had so far. I got Paul to take a pic of me in that sz 18 rockmans dress that I could finally squeeze into, even though I'm wearing sz 16 now, the dress hadn't fit me this summer, so finally does now just. Now I'm finally going ok. On Saturday I had a meal instead of a shake so I think I will do that each week on Sat night....so after 7 days I've lost 4kg's!!! I saw 97.5 before I started last weekend and am now 93.5kg. Definately a slow process of getting up and running. But it's 2pm and I've tracked everything, so we are off to a good start for the week. So all good now. Back at 92.3. So next week I WILL see the '91's. Paul came home with an exercise bike last weekend so no excuse if the weather is bad not to exercise now. Brooke has decided to sleep in and not have a day sleep, so at 3pm I get the pram out and go for a walk, then she sleeps for me. Ya have been doing well since I made the decision to stop meetings. I actually thought I'd lose more as I walked for miles on 4 days. I walked from the Port to Semaphore playground and back. The next day I walked from The boat ramp to somerton pk surf club and back, with a couple of playground stops.&lt;br /&gt;  This week I haven't walked any where near as much, I was sick then Brooke got my cold and still has it. We will go for a walk later this morning when the air warms up. But weigh tomorrow, not expecting much change. Back on the walking wagon soon. I have been good food wise, maybe a few points over a few times. I started last Sept, going to meetings by end of Nov I'd lost 8kg's. Up until 2 weeks ago I'd only lost .5kg's since then. Thats .5kgs in 6 months. With a lot of gains and losses along the way. After an interesting few chats on the skinny train it made me STOP and look at what I'd been doing, which was NOTHING, I'd hop on here some days and always talk about what I'm going to do etc and never actually do it, I decided we can talk all we want it wont lose the weight. I also looked at my meetings, we'd had a stuff around with a few crappy leaders for a while then we got 'shazzawomble' who was great, but then she left. I thought to myself I'm not getting the motivation I need from the meetings any more, so I stopped and I think having the change and knowing I was going to sink or swim when I'm only answering to myself, I made myself do it properly. And thats all it is counting points and exercising.&lt;br /&gt;I'm just so happy to be back on the weight loss journey. In the last 2 weeks I've lost 1.4kg's. I've lost 9.9kg's now.&lt;br /&gt;It was a plateau but a self inflicted plateau, I was going to meetings, buying every mag, but that still wont lose the weight for you. Only the exercise and counting will do that.&lt;br /&gt;So I hope to now stay on this road, I certainly feel happier now.""&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm so happy to be close to a 10kg loss and finally the 10% line on my ww tracker that I've been parralel to for such a long time. So I'm finally in the 94's...but not for long. This week to lose my weight I exercised everyday except Wed. I walked an hour to an hr and a half each day as well as on 2 days I did exercise dvd's. I had so much energy I could'nt help but want to go out and walk for miles. I did between 10 000 - 15 000 steps each day. If I could have a week like that this week I might just make my 10% and 10kg loss. I would have to lose 1.6kg, maybe possible, I might need 2 weeks. So I'm thinking meetings aren't for me, like I once thought they were. I thought I found motivation there, but obviously now I look at it, I'm not. Certainly having Bec there makes me accountable to turning up and weighing which has definately kept me going, but as for losing the weight no one is cracking the whip hard enough on me. So I will be cancelling my subscription to meetings and just do etools. I think a few chats over the past few days on the ww thread has made me stop and think about what I'm doing which is nothing, just plodding along and doing sweet fa in the weight loss department!!!!!!!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I thought I was going to playgroup so I told myself to go for a walk first and I did, it was that easy, I had done 6500 steps by 8.20am, then change of plans didn't go to playgroup so I went to my mums and walked to westlakes from her house, 10 000 steps by 11.30!! Unbelievable. I'm making a few meals at the moment so haven't had lunch but have snacked on raw vegies and a little rice (vegie rice balls), too hard to work out points that way I know, but at least it was raw vegies. I will be working 3/6 days betwwen now and Sunday so need to be organised with meals.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My sister is plodding along doing ww, she didn't weigh for 5 weeks, but weighed last weekend and had lost 1.3kg, so she has lost 6.5kg, she needs a good kick up the bottom too....Andee do your magic on her too. Andee gave me some very helpful advice which has helped me to get here today with these thoughts churning around my head. The skinny train thread is certainly doing it's job at the moment with encouraging and pushing each other etc, you are all great!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rebecca  we NEED to go for a  walk. NOW!!! I bought a ww pedometer today so I might even do a few challenges and join the pedometer thread and record my steps. Hopefully seeing the steps will motivate more to walk more often. My meal plan helped a lot, just knowing what I was eating for a meal and having my points worked out for that meal before I eat it. Very slowly chipping away at my weight. I didn't gain, I stayed the same. Could've been worse. So this is the start of the new me...look out. I have my 10kg by end of July challenge with Andee &amp;amp; Superbanana, so we can get there. I just reread my action plan and reminded myself of the priority I'm meant to be putting on walking. I went for a 1hr walk yesterday, 1st one in a few weeks. At the meeting today there are 3 of us at 95.? so next week we all plan to be 94.? (don't we Bec!) I'm still not quite at the lowest I was 5 weeks ago, but will be next week. I'm still in the middle of training for my new job so not much on the exercise front. So it's still nice to lose even when I'm not walking much.&lt;br /&gt;I've started a book by Craig Harper - Your perfect body. So far seems excellent and good to keep the motivation up. My dad and his wife are here at the moment so it's nice for them to spend some time with Brooke. Keeps me busy anyway. My Dad arrived yesterday from Cairns and I've started training in a new job which is during the week for 2 weeks so have been reasonably busy, although no plans today so I will be going for a walk later when Brooke wakes up, off to the library to borrow a Craig harper book they got in for me, Andee suggested a book by Ajay R. but I can't find that one yet.  Wi on Thurs so I hope to lose close to 1kg, but would really love to see 94.? for a change. Been around 95/96kg for far too long...since 11/12/08. This has been one long plataeu of my doing of course, just not tracking properly, when you know it works it's stupid to not do it. Why do we stop tracking????
